It is so easy to make almond milk at home and homemade almond milk is a great alternative for children who may not be able to have dairy. Once you make and taste your own homemade almond milk, you will never want to drink store bought almond milk again.

Essential minerals and good fats

Almond contains protein and good monounsaturated fats. It’s also absolutely packed with vitamin E, which is great at helping protect cells from the damage caused by free radicals. Almonds can also provide your body with essential minerals like calcium, magnesium and zinc.

Ingredients:

1 cup raw nuts soaked for at least 4 hours.
3 cups filtered water
1-2 Medjool dates (optional)
Pinch of salt

Method

Mix all the ingredients in a high-speed blender for 1 minute.
Strain the mixture with a nut bag and place into a bottle.

It will last for 5 days refrigerated.
